Agency of the Year (5 or less employees)
Group A
This award recognises a TEAA booking agency with 5 or fewer employees that has demonstrated exceptional success, innovation and excellence within the entertainment industry. Entrants should showcase achievements in artist and client representation, securing notable bookings, client satisfaction and collaboration with fellow TEAA members. Judges will also consider forward-thinking strategies, adaptability within an evolving industry and a commitment to nurturing emerging talent.
Agency of the Year (6 or more employees)
Group A
This award recognises a TEAA booking agency with 6 or more employees that has demonstrated exceptional success, innovation and excellence within the entertainment industry.
Entrants should showcase achievements in artist and client representation, securing prestigious bookings in the UK and internationally, client satisfaction and collaboration with fellow TEAA members. Judges will also consider forward-thinking strategies, commitment to developing emerging talent and industry recognition, supported by testimonials and notable awards.
Best New Agency (Trading less than 5 years)
Group A
This award recognises an emerging booking agency trading for five years or less that demonstrates outstanding potential within the entertainment industry. Entrants should show business growth, innovation, professionalism and a commitment to excellence, alongside strong industry relationships and client satisfaction. The winner will embody TEAA’s values through achievements in artist and client representation, securing notable bookings and collaborating with fellow industry professionals.
Agency Employee of the Year (working for TEAA member agency)
Group A
This award recognises an outstanding individual, nominated by their agency management, who has made an exceptional contribution to their agency over the past year. Nominees should demonstrate dedication, professionalism, initiative and a willingness to go above and beyond their role. Judges will consider achievements in client support, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving and their positive impact on the agency’s success. Open to employees across all departments, from bookings and admin to marketing, finance and tech support.
Production Show of the Year (created by TEAA member)
Group B
This award recognises a TEAA member who has demonstrated exceptional creativity, innovation and excellence in producing a captivating live entertainment show.
Open to theatre productions, tribute shows, educational performances, cruise productions and more, entrants should showcase outstanding artistic talent, technical production, staging and design.
Judges will also consider commercial success, notable bookings, collaboration and the overall impact of the production on audiences and the entertainment industry.
Live Venue of the Year (singular)
Group B
Nominated by TEAA Members Only.
This award recognises an outstanding live entertainment venue, from pubs and social clubs to theatres and stadiums, that delivers exceptional experiences for performers and audiences alike. Judges will consider the venue’s commitment to supporting artists and agencies, nurturing emerging talent, diverse programming, audience experience, accessibility and contribution to its local community.
TEAA members are encouraged to nominate venues that champion live entertainment and to discuss their nomination with venue management beforehand.
Live Venues of the Year (multiple)
Group B
Nominated by TEAA Members Only
This award recognises an outstanding company operating two or more live entertainment venues, including holiday parks, hotel groups, nightclub chains, theatres, cruise companies and stadiums. Judges will consider the company’s commitment to supporting artists and agencies, nurturing emerging talent, delivering diverse entertainment programmes and providing exceptional audience experiences. Accessibility, facilities and contributions to local communities will also be considered.
TEAA members are encouraged to nominate companies that champion live entertainment and to discuss their nomination with venue management beforehand.
Event of the Year
Group B
This award recognises an outstanding immersive event or experience created by a TEAA member or a company working with a TEAA member.
Entrants should demonstrate exceptional creativity, innovation and execution in delivering an engaging experience that captivates audiences and encourages participation, exploration and discovery.
From themed trails and historical re-enactments to interactive theatre and educational experiences, judges will consider storytelling, technical production, design, collaboration and overall audience impact.
Choreographer of the Year
Group B
This award recognises an outstanding individual choreographer working on a production created or represented by a TEAA member.
Entrants should demonstrate exceptional creativity, originality and technical excellence in choreography that enhances the production and captivates audiences. Open to theatre, tribute shows, cruise productions, pantomimes, corporate entertainment and touring events, judges will consider artistic vision, performer development, audience engagement and the overall professionalism and success of the production.
