Applicants must operate professionally, comply with relevant legislation, agree to abide by the TEAA Code of Conduct and Rules & Regulations, and demonstrate a commitment to fair and ethical business practices. All applicants should be registered with the ICO. Applicants should operate a separate client bank account if taking commission and advance deposits.
Annual membership costs £265 + VAT. This provides access to all member benefits, resources, networking opportunities and professional support throughout the year.
Simply complete the online application form on our website and provide the requested information.
Your application will be acknowledged and circulated to the TEAA Council for consideration. A person from the Membership Development Committee will contact you directly to find out more about your business and your experience within the industry, so an informed decision can be reached at the next Council meeting. This also gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Yes. Whilst we welcome applications from across the industry, membership is not automatic. If an application does not meet our membership criteria, it may be declined. If this happens, we will explain the reason for our decision wherever appropriate, and in some cases, applicants may be invited to reapply once any outstanding issues have been addressed.
After your application has been approved by Council you will be contacted by Head Office inviting you to register for an account via a link which will take you to the members registration area. You will also be required to pay the full fee of £265 + VAT by credit card. Once registration has taken place, you will have instant access to the members area of the website and will also be added to the TEAA mailing list to receive regular industry updates.
Members gain access to professionally drafted contracts, terms of business, additional contract clauses, guidance documents, policies and other resources designed specifically for entertainment agencies. All documentation is available via the Members Login area on our website.
TEAA logo is an official registered trademark and can only be used by members. Members may display the official TEAA Member logo to demonstrate their commitment to professionalism, integrity and recognised industry standards.
Members can connect with entertainment agents from across the UK through online member meetings, industry events, the Annual General Meeting, and the prestigious TEAA Business Awards. You will also be invited to promote your business via our Social Media Channels and our Podcast.
Our Code of Conduct sets out the professional and ethical standards expected of every member. It promotes honesty, integrity, fairness and best practice across the entertainment industry.
Where concerns are raised, they are carefully considered by the TEAA Council in accordance with the Association’s procedures. Appropriate action will be taken where necessary.
TEAA is a professional trade association that promotes excellence, professionalism and ethical business practices within the entertainment industry. Whilst we set high standards for our members, we are not a statutory regulator.
TEAA is governed by a voluntary Council made up of experienced entertainment professionals who generously give their time to support members and help shape the future of the Association.
Members are encouraged to attend meetings and events, contribute ideas, join discussions, support initiatives and, if they wish, stand for election to the TEAA Council.
TEAA has represented entertainment agents since 1927 and is run by agents, for agents. Our focus is on protecting, supporting and promoting professional entertainment agencies through trusted advice, practical resources, industry expertise and a genuine commitment to raising standards across the industry.
